Hire a vessel with introductory course

The first one or two days a trainer sails with you to help you get to 'know the ropes' and after that the ship is yours to continue your Dutch sailing adventure. The instruction style can be as intensive or relaxed as you wish.

What a typical day might look like:

welcome on board with coffee and cake
discuss the possibilities / our wishes for the voyage
get to know the ropes, 'trossen los' and hoist the sails
a morning full of sail
anchor down, lunch and time for questions arising from the morning sail
more sailing / maybe it's time for you to take command
moor for the night and an apperitif

Prices vary according to type of ship and length of course.

Optional:

catering on board for breakfast and lunch.
groceries on board so that you can prepare an evening meal.
dinner in one of the harbour restaurants.
